lol no problem. 2250 would be amazing, what did you end up getting that first time? I knew this girl (Asian of course lol and btw i’m asian too just so you don’t think i’m a total racist haha i’m just one of those defective asians with a GPA under 4.0 and that’s not in key club :P) who got 2390 and she was just totally “whatever” about it. lol I’m sure you’ll get that SAT score before college app time!

if i said my score, it would embarrass the asian community haha.

My friends got like 235 on the PSAT’s as sophomores… i have to work on my SAT’s and GPA and i think i’ll be alright lol

dude. believe me, the spot for embarrassment to the asian community is already taken. i quit violin and chinese school and key club and dropped 2 out of 4 AP classes first semester of senior year. lol anyway don’t feel bad you just happen to have fricking geniuses for friends. with 2250 SAT and 4.68 (was that what you said?) GPA you’ll be pretty much covered.

haha i quit chinese school also… it was so boring lol

a 4.68 gpa is only if i get straight A’s until end of junior year. The chances of that happening is like 1% lol

i know i was like kill me please. lol
So i forgot to say, i think planning all those AP classes senior year is gonna be a mistake, unless you are truly prepared to excel in all 5 of them (it was 5 right…lol) because unless you’re used to that many AP’s in one semester, it will seriously kill you. Senior year is the year you absolutely do NOT want to screw up because colleges can rescind your acceptances if you get a D or whatever. I know a few people who loaded up senior year and their schedule was almost exactly like yours and they either survived the year but looked back on it remembering nothing but stress, anxiety and lack of an actual life or they got a D in just one subject and it killed their acceptance. So just make sure you’re actually ready to handle all those classes if you’re gonna go for it. I started out senior year taking 4 AP classes and an honors class and i ended up dropping AP stats and AP spanish lit (i’d already done AP language anyway so i didn’t feel too bad about dropping that one lol) cause it was just too much. Anyway sorry this is so long lol just a head’s up!

I heard AP spanish was a tough course… so i probably won’t take it

I thought 4 was too few AP courses… is it ? I know some seniors taking 6 right now

AP spanish language was at least for me a really laid back class, but it was probably the teacher more than anything else. he was seriously the most chilled out teacher ever. but when i took AP lit it was a whole different story, i mean it was the same teacher but the work involved was just soo insane, i mean we had to analyze poems and rhetorical technique and **** when i was having enough trouble translating the first stanza. so yeah from day 1 i was like, i’m so out of here lol. ah dude you’re SO asian…lol i don’t mean that as an insult. but seriously, it’s ok to only take like 3 AP classes. It’s not like colleges will see that and be like “oh, he could’ve taken 6 AP’s but he didn’t DENIED” It’s really up to you, i’m just saying you should really be sure that taking all those AP classes is what you actually want, and to make sure that you can actually have the time to study enough to get decent grades in them. it’s not impossible, i mean one of my best friends got a 5.0 both semesters of junior year and then first semester of our senior year. It’s just really tough.

haha yeah i really am the definition of asian

i think 4 is a good number of AP’s … not too little but not excessive either
And senior year is supposed to be a tiny bit more relaxed right ? I want to have some free time haha.

thanks for your insight

Senior year has by far been the most relaxed year of high school because i don’t have math or spanish anymore. When i dropped stats it was too late to switch into a different math class so now i don’t have a 6th period and i switched out spanish lit to be an AVID tutor for freshmen (it gets you volunteer hours) lol. So i mean, it really depends on how you schedule it out as far as how relaxing senior year is. The majority of seniors at my school don’t have a 6th period since they already have more than enough credits. it’s soo nice to drive away and watch the underclassmen go to class as you’re going out of the parking lot…lol anyway yeah so if you have the schedule you had up on that other post, you’re definitely not gonna be going the relaxing route. Which is why i think it’s best to compromise with 2-4 AP classes and the rest be relaxing classes or if you can just have no last period if your school does that.
