Since you are only a junior you have time to up your score to get into a better range for some of these schools, Take the SAT again and take the ACT also. Some people do better on the ACT. Michigan, PSU, Boston U and SUNY Bing are reaches. If you can raise your scores you will be in a better postion for some of your other schools. As it stands currently SUNY Albany would be your best bet right now and I don't know anything about Stevens. If your scores are similiar after retakes look to add schools such as UMASS Amherst, SUNY Buffalo, Towson and Temple.

It should say Withdraw instead of F. You can have your counselor write something about that when you send it in.

Michigan State- Ok chance, but can you breakdown your SAT? They don't use Writing section so I need to know your CR and Math.
Mich- Sorry, but a really big reach.

Those are all I can help with, sorry. Good luck though.

shimshimey, 2nd what above poster said about having your GC write something. I think it looks good that you are still continuing Spanish and not just dropping it. Also, your gpa is not bad at all and in fact is very good for many colleges. If you are willing to travel a bit there are schools like University of Tennessee which will take your highest grades for the number of years that they are requesting for each subject. For example if they ask for 3 years spanish and you take 4 they will take the 3 years that have the highest grades when they recalculate your gpa. Some of the schools you have listed are tricky and harder to get into for a lot of people not just yourself. Just continue to work hard during your junior year and colleges will take notice.
