Currently im studying in usc's marshall school of business with a 3.4 gpa and nothing special in terms of extra-curriculars. my high school gpa was a 3.1 and my sat score was 2200. im looking to pull my college gpa up to a 3.6 by the end of next semester and a 3.7 by the end of sophomore year.

please tell me what are my chances of transferring into UMich Ross for junior year!

From what I hear, it is difficult to directly transfer from another university into Ross. If your gpa is good, and you have a good amount of extracurricular activities, I would say go for it. Just work hard on those essays to convince them you have good motive to get in. I would suggest transferring into the LSA school a semester or two before applying to Ross so they see you have done things at Michigan, if you wish. I transferred into the LSA school one semester before applying to Ross, and was accepted.

Also, they only care what you did since graduating high school, anything in high school is null.

Ross is a 3-year program so plan on spending an extra year even if you are successful.

Why not stay at Marshall? Ross doesnt deserve spending an extra year there .
