Your ECs are, as mentioned, a little on the weak side. But I enjoy your awards and summer doings, nice. Pray that your SAT did go up, because that could make all the difference! HYS will be hard, no doubt...

If you are the valedictorian, it is sort of strange that you did not score 2000+ to begin with. But we'll see what your new score is, and I'm guessing that you're going to score much better this time around. Assuming you do, I would say great chances at everywhere, but Harvard Yale Stanford are all high reaches because they are for nearly every applicant. Good luck !

Not really. Some people just try very very hard in school, and know how to beat the system/do as well as possible. Doesn't make them good test takers necessarily.

I dont feel like I "beat" the system. I am admittedly not a great test taker. However I have received straight "A's" since 7th grade...by hard work. I study 2-4 hours per night and read everything I can. I am not naturally brilliant. But smart and very hardworking.
Sometimes I think hard work and perseverance are underrated.
Ok...I am done :)

p.s. I really think I nailed the SAT on saturday! :)

Hi, all my fellow CCers...Is everyone at home working on their early app's? Thanks to anyone who gives me a "chance"...I will happily chance you back. Have a great weekend! :)
