You should take the ACT if you can, sometimes people do better on the ACT than they do on the SAT.

not sure how much being a minority will help with the ivies, but you never know :smiley: the strength of your ECs should help with the slightly lower SAT scores. :slight_smile:

-NYU - in
-Princeton - reach
-Harvard - reach
-Columbia - should be a low reach
-University of Miami - obviously in :smiley:
-Emerson - in

goodluck!

[thread=830377]Chance me! :)[/thread]

Accepted everywher except Harvard, so unpredictable! Hahaha Best of luck to youuuu

your grades are pretty solid…test scores are gonna be a little weak for the ivies, but not terrible by any means. those just arent gonna be the part of your application that stands out. i think your extracurriculars look really great…especially getting books published. a lot of the top schools mention that they love good writers and im sure itll show in your essays.
id say…
NYU, Emerson, U Miami–all in
Columbia–low reach
Harvard, Yale, Princeton (you posted on mine to mention Yale too)–all potentials but harder reaches…just because so much is random
