<p>Your stats are solid, and it’s nice to see consistency in EC involvement while still maintaining good grades. Your awards are impressive, and you spent your summers wisely to strengthen your application profile. But to me what really stands our is your book! I hope you highlighted that in your application, and assume that you have very good essays if you’ve written a few books. So I think you are in at NYU, and maybe a good chance at Columbia. I don’t know about Miami and Emerson, but the rest are Ivy League which are reaches for everyone in my book. Sure I think you have a chance, and your ethnicity will help, but remember that there are some people more qualified than you for those schools. Best of luck!</p>

<p>Congradulations on publishing a novel! That’s a wonderful accomplishment that many of the colleges you are applying to will love! I’d say you are most definitely in University of Miami, Emerson and NYU. Your GPA is great, however your SAT scores are a bit low (excluding the writing part). I think try for Columbia, you might have a chance there, especially being a minority, and Columbia loves diversity. As for Harvard, Princeton and Yale, those are very high reaches, but try anyway, because your SAT scores are high for a minority. You might get into to one of HPS. Good luck! :)</p>

<p>Your awards are lacking, and being a female from an area that sends a ton of kids to ivies will hurt you.
