Johns Hopkins (ED)
Cornell
Boston College
Emory
Georgia Tech
U.Michigan (Applied as Early Response)
U.Washington
Boston University

bump bump bump
i will cHance u back

Here's how I see it
Johns Hopkins- definitely a reach, but you have a shot
Cornell - a definite reach too, but you never know
Boston College - low reach
Emory- low reach
Georgia Tech- high target
U.Michigan- high target
U.Wisconsin- in
U.Washington- probably in
Boston University- definitely in

Although idk what colleges will think of a 2.0 freshman year unless there is some reasoning behind that. also, you havent listed any AP's or honors so if you are not taking any AP's or honors then it will definitely be harder to get into

oh also the SAT score is 1940 not 1950, just check the math.

JHU - reach because of low scores, but not impossible
Cornell - reach (ivies are reaches)
BC - low reach/high match
Emory - low reach
GTech - match
Mich - high match
Wisconsin - match
Washington - match (WashU in St Louis is a low reach)
BU - in

Please chance me?

Johns Hopkins (ED): Reach, but there's a good possibility
Cornell: It's going to be tough. That's all I can say.
Boston College: It never hurts to pray. :-) I think you stand a chance with your extensive science background, but it's not a lock, either.
Emory: I think it hinges on your essay, interview, etc. In between a match and a reach.
Georgia Tech: I would also categorize this as a safety.
U.Michigan (Applied as Early Response): Not a guarantee, but I think you're in.
U.Washington: I figure it's tougher for out-of-state applicants, but your science extracurriculars should pull you through.
Boston University: Mark it down as a safety. :-)

Thanx for for all of yall..

great job on bringing your gpa up and having a high class rank! :)

out of these schools, go to BC or Michigan, Johns Hopkins is overrated if you're not doing something medical, consider Cornell if you get accepted but know that it's in the middle of nowhere

Thanx Pierre

the fact that you brought your gpa up so dramatically from your freshman year is impressive. your CR score for SAT is very...mediocre .. for GT, but who cares? they're a school full of math-oriented nerds. You should be able to get into tech. go there, take advantage of that HOPE.
