Thanks in advance

Just in case anybody has any doubts about my 11th and 12th grades a 80% and above is like a 3.7-3.8 gpa.

If that’s how the grades translate, then your GPA should be fine for engineering. Based on what we were told at the engineering open house last year, the SAT of 1120 (Math + CR) is too low, however. I think the cutoff is around 1200. Admission to engineering is based just on the numbers.

You can contact admissions/engineering to see what they say. Your EC’s look good, UB is receptive to international students, and I would say your numbers would get you admitted to the university. If you do well, you could transfer into engineering (check the web site for engineering’s transfer policies). You would need to decide whether that is a path that’s right for you.

Good luck.

Thanks JustListening.
