<p>Hey I am a student from India. I really want to go to University at Buffalo as it has a low tuition fees as compared to other unis in the US. I am an Indian so cost really matters. Just wanted to know if I would get in. Will be applying for Chemical engineering.</p>

Class 10 - CGPA 8.8 out of 10
class 11 - 82%
Class 12 - 86%</p>

Participated in various environmental campaigns for global warming, pollution, Anti use of Plastic and Polythene bags.
Took part World Environment Day for Poster making.
As part of community service gave a demonstration to the rural area farmers about Organic farming sponsored by Rotary Club, Digboi.
Fund Raising for Help Age India.</p>

<p>Won 4 state level Tournaments in Golf
Won 2 district level tournaments in Golf
School House Prefect
Playing the Piano for 4 years.
Playing the Congo(An African Instrument) for 5 years.
Playing the Drums for 2 years.</p>

<p>I am not very familiar with the school, but I think your scores are kind of low for engineering majors. Make sure you write great essays to make up for them. Also, if you are an international student, what’s your Toefl score? I suggest you apply to some safeties,too.</p>

<p>Your class 11 and 12 scores are impressive. However the SAT scores are pretty low - 650 M is threshold level for engineering.</p>

<p>Do you mean SUNY Buffalo or Buffalo state, btw?</p>

<p>For schools that aren’t too expensive, check out Missouri School of science and technology, South Dakota Schools of Mines and Technology, New Mexico school of Mines and Technology.</p>

<p>You may also want to see if some D3 schools with golf may be interested (fill out the “prospective recruit” questionnaire).</p>

For (relatively) cheaper prices, check out U Minnesota Twin Cities, U Minnesota Morris, Truman State, SD School of Mining and Technology, NM School of Mines and the other tech schools already mentioned.</p>

<p>your grades are good for SUNY Buffalo but with that sat score i would say high match. if u get a 1900 you will definitely get in

<p>I would definitely try to bump up your SAT scores. They are low, especially for chemical engineering which is a pretty hot major (at least where I am)</p>

<p>I know my SAT score is low but don’t have any time to improve it as my school exams are around the corner.</p>
