So, W&M has the coolest campus I've ever set foot on, and I love the history, tradition, setting, climate, etc. It's my understanding, though, that getting in as an out of state kid is damn near impossible. Could I potentially be that exception?

Oh, and I'd be pre-med(ish), if that matters.
Thank you for your time and help.

I think you will get in.

You stand a very good chance. While Willaim and Mary was not to kind to white males this year accodring to the admission stats at my school, you look like an excellent candidate. Good luck. I am also applying to William and Mary next year, but I am lucky enough to be in-state. :D

dang dude, that’s impressive. my one word of advice would be match those impressive school stats with impressive community service. And i am not talking about the kind you do through NHS. Start your own project that makes a real difference. I am an OOS female who was accepted, and my school (in the middle of po-dunk rural nowhere) did not offer half of what yours does but I still made it in, and I like to think it was based off of the community service I’ve done.

Just thought i would throw that out there. Good luck!

I think you will be accepted.

Nothing on paper to deny you. If you don’t get in, it’s because of the quirkiness of admissions decisions, not because of your stats.

Also, I think if you do early decision you will get in for sure. Of course, only do early decision if you’re sure that W&M is your top choice and that your family can afford it no matter the financial aid package.

Apply! W&M is an awesome school. It seems like you have a competitive resume and would do well there.

and so it begins again. :P

you know… looking at that, it looks like i’ll see you around next year. good luck!!
