Chance at 1800-1900 in a little over a months time?

Okay so I have not done an SAT practice test in months. I took it in March and got a 1720 (i did alright on CR+Writing but I bombed math).

I stopped studying for the damn thing b/c my parents told me to just go to a CC. So I didn't study for it at all this summer and then today my mom was saying I should take it again because I might just go to a UC. Great timing.

They want me to go UCI or better. My grades are atrocious, like a 3.5 UC GPA thanks to a forgettable second semester of sophmore year.

So I am going to sign up for the November test. Is that enough time to get to the 1800-1900 mark? Really my problem is math. I can never surpass 600. Writing, I can get close to 700 so long as my Essay is good. CR I'm in the middle at around 600-620. So I really need to work on math. If I had cracked 600 on Math the last time I took the SAT, I would have had an 1820.

Any tips for raising my score quickly in math?

I studied math w/ barron's book. I went through the whole sections and memorized some basic formulas maybe. Even though I'm good at math, SAT math can be tricky sometimes you really need to go through the prep book math section. It doesn't have to be barron's, but I liked it a lot. (at least for math sections) and if you keep practicing, you will be fine.

thanks

bump

easy....concentrate on one subject and score 700. That will get you to 1800 no doubt.

Wouldn't colleges like to see more of a balanced student though?
