Chance at getting into Umass Amherst for accounting

So I’m at Isenberg for accounting, and I think I’m a decent applicant, I don’t remember some stuff exactly since it’s been a few years since high school due to my army enlistment, but I shouldn’t be too far off the mark.

GPA-3.3
ACT-32
I’m currently taking two classes online through southern new Hampshire university, an English and a social sciences, and there’s no reason why I shouldn’t get an A in both.

My only real concern is the credit requirement. I never really thought about umass until after I enlisted, and I recently looked at the credit requirements for freshmen, and it has me a little worried. Basically, it says that umass requires 4 years of math, and math your senior year of high school. I took algebra 2 my freshman year, college algebra/precalc my sophomore year, and stats my junior year. I also took one semester of calc my senior year, but I’m not sure if that completely satisfies the requirement. In addition, I also took geometry my 8th grade year, and while I think it’s on my high school transcript, I’m not completely sure. I’m basically just trying to see if I even have a shot, or if it’s a waste of time applying.

Just to clear any confusion, I’m Looking at Isenberg, I’m not actually there…stupid tablet

I just came across your post, sorry you haven’t gotten any responses. I’m not sure what your chances are regarding admission to Isenberg, but my son is at UMASS and currently trying to transfer into Isenberg (hospitality management). The admissions department was very responsive to me when I emailed to ask questions about the process, and I’m sure, especially as it’s early in the year right now (maybe not quite as busy as when they are dealing with early action and other admission deadlines), that they would be happy to answer your questions. You could even email an unofficial transcript and have them do a quick read to tell you if you have any holes that you need to address before applying. I have found every department that both he and I have interacted with to be great! Hope you get the answers you need. Good luck!

A phone call will confirm but I would think the requirements might be different (or possibly altered in particular situations) for those who have served, at least I would hope so.
