chance at UW?

Any chance at University of Washington?

I am an in-state white male student that does not need financial aid.

i went to a top prep school 7-9th grade named University Prepatory Academy a mile away from UW, I then transfered to my local public high school. I sadly earned a 2.99 9-11 grade in which I took all honor classes available and then junior year took 3 IB classes. Though this first semester as a senior I have 4 IB classes and an economics class in which I earned a 3.667.

I took the ACT once which i received the scores of

Composite: 21
Math:25
Reading:24
English:19
Science:17
WRITING:10

I took the SAT twice which I received the scores of

Math: 580, 550
Critical Reading: 500, 490
Writing: 460, 470

I am aware of my low GPA and testing scores and I let the admissions committee know that my grades from first semester were greatly improved.

The 5 extracurriculars listed on the application were

3 years of Key Club including senior year vice president

Organized many different community service programs including blood drive, middle school tutoring program, Bike safety course for local elementary kids, and clothing and food drive.

Active members have almost tripled since last year.

2 years of DECA including senior year vice president
-Becoming very involved with DECA my senior year I not only lead meetings but I am also competing in the CAP project competition which requires multiple community service projects and team building activities (At least 12 quality activities)

Along with competiting in the CAP project I will be competiting in the General Marketing research paper competition as well.

October of Senior Year I was hired at Discount Tires Co. where I work 20 hours a week.

The past three summers I have spent the first two months of each summer in South Naknek, Alaska commercial fishing in Bristol Bay. I wrote my personal statements on my experiences working on the boat and my time up there and my second one on my time having conversatioms and hearing stories from the local Native Americans in the small population of 70 village. While in Alaska, I was working 6-7 days a week and between 15-24 hours a day with no cell phone, internet or any real civilization for almost the entire time. The UW will read about my three experiences and my growth from a greenhorn ( a first year fisherman) to a deck boss (also a leadership position) through my two personal statements.

3 years of school baseball including one varsity, 1 year of year round select baseball including high school baseball the same year.
