Chance by eligibility index?

My index is 3410

For CSULB, you want to be in the 3900+ range for the best chances. If you are local, around a 3700-3800 may get you an acceptance. Hopefully, you have applied to some other Cal States. It will also depend upon intended major.

Good Luck.

@Gumbymom
thanks. another q, where do you get the info for the range of a good/high index

Some EI information has been posted on CC in the last few years. For most of the EI’s other than SJSU state (which actually posts their thresholds yearly) I have been keeping track of the posted stats on the CSU’s decision threads to help my son’s and relatives with determining match schools for application purposes.

Some of the CSU’s do post minimum EI’s on their websites, especially for impacted majors. Also if you know the average CSU GPA and SAT and/or ACT scores, you can calculate the average EI for that campus.

EI thresholds can fluctuate from year to year and by major so no EI range is definitive. Also local in-service applicants are given special consideration so their EI’s can be lower than the out of area applicants.

I probably spend too much time on this website and collecting data but I find it helpful.
