Chance! Chance! Chance! (me of course)

alright...here are my stats- I'm kinda nervous about these with my schools...but here goes:
(and thanks very much for taking time to do this!!!)

All the rest are honors

College essays are both amazing

Finally, the colleges:
Carnegie Mellon
U. Cincinnati
Syracuse University
Rochester Institute of Technology
Boston University
Northeastern University
Virginia Tech
Drexel
UCSD
UCLA

and I'm thinking about applying to:
Rice
Northwestern
But I think they might be too reachy...are there any other schools that may only be slight reaches? (engineering/business major)
Thanks so much!
Jonathan

Oh and I also did COSMOS this summer in Nuclear physics and electro-optics- we went to Los Alamos National Labs in New Mexico! It was really fun.

I'd say Carnegie Mellon is a definite reach; boston would be more of a high match

thanks! anyone else care to help me too???

UCLA is a big reach if you are out of state. Probably UCSD oos is a reach as well. You'd have a much better chance at UW-Madison and UMich. Otherwise, your list looks appropriate to me.

I think you're into Northeastern

OH than ks greenblue- I happen to be in-state...does that change anything?

bummp (oh and I applied EA for Northeastern btw)

bummmmppp (very shameless I know...)

I'll do the ones I am familiar with:

Carnegie Mellon - High Reach
Boston University - High Reach/Reach
Northeastern University - Reach
Virginia Tech - High Match
UCSD - Match
UCLA - High Reach/Reach

I agree with Neal, but if you improve your SATs (over 2100), it should be:

Carnegie Mellon: Low Reach
Boston University: Match/Low Reach
Northeastern: Match
Virginia Tech: Safety
UCSD: Match
UCLA: Match/Low Reach

Justsomeguy99-he said he is in state

your stats overall look good expect for the SAT score. improve that and you should be looking pretty good for UCSD and UCLA

Whoops. Should have read carefully. :)

Carnegie Mellon: High Reach
Syracuse University: Match
Boston University: Reach
Northeastern University: Match
Virginia Tech: Match/Safety
UCSD: High Match/Low Reach
UCLA: Reach

well my ACT score translates to a 2140 or something similar (2100+ SAT)
so I guess that makes me a better fit?
and thanks to all who replied!

bummmmp up! Thanks to everyone who has (and will) Reply!!!

once again....another shameless bump
thanks everyone!

once again....another shameless bump

once again....another shameless bump
