I have been determined to become a veterinarian since I was in kindergarten. Now I’m determined to study Animal Sciences at either Cornell or Clemson and eventually attend veterinary school. I have completed eight online college courses with certificates in all of them, attended Cornell’s Summer College for Sustainable Animal Husbandry, coxswain on the crew team, president of the astronomy club, lead witness on the mock trial team, have eleven years of experience in piano and ballet, and have six AP courses. I volunteer for the SPCA, have over 50 ours of community service, and speak Italian and English. I haven’t taken the SAT yet but I have been studying for a year so far. What are my chances?
What grade are you in? What is your GPA and rank? Clemson weighs GPA, test scores and class rank the most. When you take the SAT or ACT, mark Clemson and Cornell down as school choices. This will demonstrate interest. My son was contacted in Spring of his Jr year and offered provisional acceptance based on his scores and self reporting of his grades and classes on the Collegeboard website when he registered for the ACT. Good luck
