Additional rec will probably be from a Harvard Business School Alumni who knows me really well and has seen the struggles that I have been through.

Other Info:
Middle Eastern
Immigrant
Low Income Parents (less than 40k)

Thanks for all the help! I will chance back!

All reach schools, but your stats r fine in my opinion. But since it’s RD, the chances r lower

wow, very stellar stuff, your low income status should help you. I believe middle eastern is considered white, so thats not going to help you count as a urm. that being said, your overcoming struggles will help you. here it isnt even gpa or scores, but how u present yourself as a person. You’ll get rejected from some of these, and accepted into the others. If you write essays well, uchicago should be an acceptance. please chance me back on my last thread

@kimdy0‌ I applied ED to WUSTL.

@ShowMeState700‌ Thanks for the chance! I’m really passionate about what I do, and I love helping people. That’s why I volunteer so much.

Bump

Duke - low to mid reach
WUSTL - high match to low reach (if you’ve visited and shown interest)
Johns Hopkins - match to high match
University of Chicago - low reach
Emory - match
Stanford - high reach (it is for everyone)
Upenn - mid reach
Harvard - high reach (not sure how much the letter of recommendation will help)
Princeton - high reach

Your stats are reasonably good. They’re not standout and they’re not quite at the boundary where I’d say you’d never be rejected because of your scores, but they are good enough. Your ECs are pretty good and it seems like you have a compelling story to tell. No one can predict these schools entirely accurately though, just because of the nature of acceptances at these schools. However, I think JH and Emory are very safe bets, and I’d say that I wouldn’t be surprised at Duke, WUSTL, or UChicago either way. Stanford, UPenn, Harvard, and Princeton are all very competitive and I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in to at least one of those, but I wouldn’t say that anyone, even someone with seemingly perfect credentials, can say that they have a much better chance than ~20-25% acceptance at one of those schools (unless they’re a legacy, VIP (ie. son/daughter of a celebrity), URM, etc.).

Good luck!

Thanks @micmatt513‌! That was really helpful!
