<p>Good luck. I think your ECs are lacking depth but you look like you have a good shot overall.</p>
<p>I look for depth in ECs. Meaning that it’s a passion or that the leadership position is something that takes years or many hours of work to achieve. I also look for state and national recognitions in your passions. Many of the ECs people post look like someone checked the box on a lot of activities so they could list it on a resume but don’t display the level of passion for that activity.</p>
<p>Ya I see what you mean, on the application I obviously went into a little bit more detail. For example in mock trial (which I’m captain in now) I’ve won two or three outstanding attorneys awards and competed at regional competitions. But I can’t really say state or nationals.</p>
<p>^^You’ll do well. I think Ivy admissions demands so much from young people. Doing your best will always get you far in life. Remember, a college is not the end goal. I hope you have goals beyond that. A single school can’t make or break you as a person. With the app submitted, go have some fun.</p>
