Hey guys!

I'm an international student who plan to apply for Rice as an ED applicant, and I want to major in Architecture.

In my high school, there are around 700 students in my grade, and I got the rank of top 1%.(But in the transcript, it only shows top 10%.... )

Besides, I was in America as an exchenge-student in my junior year. I studied in a tiny high school in the countryside, and I got the GPA of 4.00 and a 5 in AP Calculus AB (I learned by myself because it was not offered in that high school...)

As for activities, I was the vice-chairman of the student council in my high school in my country, participant of the Model UN for three years and now the head of MUN in my high school; and I attended some international MUN conferences as well. Besides, I was the chief of a volunteer group contains 3000 members and organized all the important activities for that group in my administration. In America, I also joined the BPA, acdemic team in that school. In addtion, I got an internship in a famous design company in the summer.

I haven't got a satifying SAT grade yet... I took one in May, and I got a totally horrible score... I plan to take the SAT I in Octobor and the SAT II in November... I think getting a score over 2000 is not a big problem to me unless I felt too nervous during the test (my usual "habit"....). I aim at getting one over 2100...

Additionally, I took the art training for 7 years when I was little, but I gave up the training after I got into the junior high because of the stressed study in school. Anyway, I still can draw some paintings to put into my portfolio...

How is my chance to get into Rice?
Can anyone give me some suggestions for my application? I really really appriciate it!!!!!!
