UnWeighted GPA: 3.90
Weighted GPA: 4.43
Rank: Top 10% (specifically, I'm about number 13-14 in my school)
SAT: 2010 (re-taking in Dec and confident I can do well over 2100 but I don't want to get my hopes up so I'll just say 2100)
SAT II: Taking Chem, Math I/II (haven't decided yet) and possibly Physics and think I can score above a 680 on all of them.
ACT: 32
ECs: National Honors Society (Vice-President), National Science Honors Society, 100 hours volunteer work at Arnold Palmer Hospital, National BETA Club.
APs: Human Geo (4), World History (4), US History (4), Chemistry (5), Biology (4), Statistics (3), Lang and Comp (4), Psychology (5), American Government (4).
Others: NMSF, National Hispanic Scholar, Ventures Scholar, low-income bracket, Florida resident, big upward trend in GPA from freshman year up.

Are you applying for RD instead because the ED deadline has past, and seeing as how you haven’t even done your SAT 2s yet, there was no way you could have applied ED.

At the moment, your ACT score is obviously significantly better than your SAT score; you definitely have a chance. Try to get ACT to 33+ if you can though.

Sorry for the bluntness, but its my honest opinion

SATs are too low; 2100 won’t cut it either. Need 2200+ for any chance (but study your butt off, cause I had a 2120 in junior year, studied over summer and took it this fall as a senior, now i am at 2340)
SAT iis: too low, getting 750 + or at least 3 with 700 +

Get more extra curriculars; school clubs arent that helpful for college; I didnt even write half my officer positions on my app, and I learned this year that clubs are just a necessity but dont really help you all that much
Try doing some science fair proj, since you are majorin in chem

^I’m in Experimental Science with my Chem teacher of two years, the whole class is about us going off campus to UCF to do research with a professor/researcher on a topic of our choice. We do a legit study (mine is on the behavior of electrons during phase changes) including a dissertation and then take part in a state, and hopefully national, science fair. Does that count as an EC, or just a class? And could I send them my research with my application?

@Jason
It is an EC because you spend time outside of class.
You dont send research in your app, they dont want it. The award/honor you get is all they see and that is what matters

Some of those scores scare me for a chemistry major. A score of 3 on AP Stats is alarming for a that kind of major as well as just overall being underwhelming in math/science scores.
Scores and grades are much more important for a Science major, as opposed to say, Liberal Arts.
