Chance for junior in high school

^ Okay, I thought you took Pre AP Cal last year. Have you already taken Pre AP Physics?

JHU is a great choice. Rice and Emory would be good choices too.

Just make sure you have good AP scores as well as SAT Reasoning and SAT subject test scores. If you can pull off the 2250 on the SAT and 700s on the SAT IIs you are good to go.

No, my school doesn’t have that requiremement so I will be going directly into AP Physics.
…EMORY? My stats are actually good for Emory?

^ Yep, if you can pull off 5s in your core subject AP tests, 2250 on the SAT and 700s on your PSAT IIs, I do not see why not. Standardized National test scores should certainly help erase doubts about the quality of your high school. I would check with the school counselor if she will mark your transcript as most rigorous too.

if there are more 4s than 5s, and the SATs are below 2200 I would look to attend a school like UAB in Birmingham.

Well I actually want to try for top 25 universities. That’s why I’m here freaking out.
