I've been accepted for general admission, but not McCombs and I'm just really nervous XD

Wow, you will most likely get in. Worse comes to worse just transfer into McCombs sophomore year.

How does the transfer actually work? Are Ap credits counted towards your being a “sophomore” or…?

Also a second opinion would be appreciated.

Top 5% Class Rank
800 Math SAT
750 Verbal SAT
AP Physics B - predicts success in calculus and statistics courses

For a huge school like UT, the first three numbers above should predict admittance.

I’d say you’re almost guaranteed admittance - for in-state, I think all they really even look at is class rank/percentile. Top 8% are auto-admits to the Freshman program, top 5% is basically like auto-admit for the business program. The Business Honors program is the one where your ECs will actually count, I think.

This is all just my opinion though, I got accepted into McComb’s like a week after I applied (top 5%, 2320 SAT) so I assume they didn’t really have much time to look over my app in the first place…

Still waiting on BHP though.

Good luck! When did you apply? I’m trying to figure out long how this rolling admissions process usually takes >.<

I applied about 10 days ago, but it took some time for them to “confirm my senior course schedule.” After that I was accepted into general admission within a day, but I still haven’t been notified for my major selection.

Also do they just know my ap scores…? Or do I have to send them?

When I got my school to send a transcript for me, they had the option of also sending SAT and AP scores. I checked the box, so I assume the school sent a copy somehow? If they don’t give you that option I would just include it in the professional resume you send them. They never asked me for any official AP score report, though.
