<p>The point is that yeah, hooks make up a lot of the class. Obviously there is some overlap, but I read somewhere that about half the class has some kind of hook. If you look at these numbers, half makes sense. </p>
<p>Anyway, you are putting WAY too much emphasis on the SAT score. The SAT score isn’t the primary problem. The entire app just isn’t ivy level. </p>
<p>I agree with cortana. This kid will go to an excellent school, but probably should be focusing on top 50, not top 10, schools.</p>
