If I want to transfer there from an equal level school for fall of 2010:

If a school says that applicants with a 3.0 or higher are most successful in getting in, does that mean they probably discard those under 3.0 immediately? I will likely have a 2.9 something after this next semester, and above 3.0 by the end of 2nd semester, but Im not sure if they would discard it before they see the mid-term grades. The average gpa is 3.3 and 50% admit rate, so that means there have to be a lot of people under 3.3 who are admitted because many with 3.8s and 3.9s are admitted and still enroll elsewhere. Anybody know?

Also, would it be more difficult trying for northeastern business school than other majors?
