Chance for NYU Stern, UC Berkeley, and UPenn Wharton?

Hello, so i had posted an identical thread in College Admission forum before, but just wanna know more suggestions here. Thanks.

Here is that thread:
Im currently a junior in NY, just wanna know some ideas/thoughts regard admission one year later
So here is my statistics

Objective:
• SAT I (breakdown):not going to take
• ACT:havnt take yet... expected 33
• SAT II: math 2c 800, chemistry 800, and going to take physics which may also be 800
• Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): so far its 3.93UW and predict to be 3.90 at end of junior year
• Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable):school doesnt rank
• AP (place score in parenthesis):Statistics (5) Predicted junior year APs: Calculus BC(5) Physics B (5) and Computer Science (5)
• IB (place score in parenthesis):no IB in our school
• Senior Year Course Load:AP Lit. AP Economics, AP Gov, AP Physics C, multivariable, virtual business
• Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.):maybe AIME qualifier this year, and some local minor math award..

Subjective:

• Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Math Club(maybe president at senior year,10,11,12 grade) Financial Club (11,12 grade), FBLA (11,12 grade), Model UN (11,12 grade), Peer Tutoring (10,11,12), NHS(11,12), Varsity Badminton (10, 11,12 grade) Varsity Swimming (10 grade)
• Job/Work Experience:none, but maybe my internship will count

• Volunteer/Community service:Well, for this part, i have started a nonprofit organization in china (by organizing my friends to do so), which can be counted as a community service and major EC. The organization is to
1. transfer some american goods to sell through internet in China and through my friends in each school
2. i copy whatever fun activity ideas that i encounter in US to my friends in China, and let them do similar things to raise money
3. receive donations..

• Summer Activities: Internship at dad's factory, and last summer i was enrolled in Cornell's summer college (business world, but only received a B+ D: ) and going to Wharton's summer program this summer
• Essays:going to be very good with assistance of someone professional in it.
• Teacher Recommendation: both will be really good (from my statistics and calculus BC teachers)
• Counselor Rec: will be really good
• Additional Rec: none..

Other[list]
• State (if domestic applicant):NY
• Country (if international applicant):
• School Type:Public
• Ethnicity: Chinese..
• Gender:M
• Income Bracket:Upper

Also, there is something special for me, I immigranted to US from China at the end of freshman year, idk if it really helps cuz im still an asian.. and i can apply those schools without financial aid

Please chance me for the three schools:

UPenn Wharton (ED)
UC Berkeley
NYU Stern (Third Choice)

Actually both UPenn and Berkeley are my top choices

Also, here is some schools i consider

Carnegie Mellon U
Columbia U
Cornell U
Harvard C
Johns Hopkins U
MIT
Stanford U
U Chicago
U Michigan
U Texas Austin
U Virginia

Sorry for my poor enligh at some points which may cause confusion..
Thanks a lot for chancing me :)

No one? :(

buuuuummmmmmmmpppp

127 views but no replies :(

You’re very well qualified for all of them. Wharton is a reach for everyone, but you have a very good shot.

NYU Stern - match
UC Berkeley - match
UPenn Wharton - low reach

Business schools require high level of English expression and knowledge, a good math student may not suitable for Business School. As we don’t know your Reading and Writing Scores, we cannot offer comments to the application outcome.

I would take your SAT and ACT before you consider anything. Scores can be surprising (good or bad). I wouldn’t suggest not taking your SAT for schools like these.

Hey, check SAT/ACT requirements for UPenn, Berkeley, and NYU Stern. If they are achievable, your extracurricular and subjective will match.

I knew you were upper income bracket, HAHAHA.
Chance me back

Good chance, are you applying to Stern CMU Columbia Cornell etc under RD?

Thank all u guys, actually my english is my worst subject and i even still have some trouble communicating in english… I have already try both SAT and ACT model tests, and feel much better in ACT.

@dinosoar Yes everything else are RD except wharton (ED), and maybe EA some random schools. How do u think my chance in RD to those schools? Thanks.

bump bump bump

Maybe write that jazzy essay about your nonprofit organization and it’s meaningful contributions to your academic life, and put a groovy taste to it and you’re chances will increase a lot.

Don’t worry, apply a lot and get in a lot too.
