Please, explain to me how my ECs are average. Do you know where I live? I live in the middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania. How much do you expect me to do? I extremely involved musical, I am the President of two fairly useful clubs, I’ve helped raised thousands of dollars for our school and local charities, and I’ve been dedicated to an organization that practices 30 hours/week for the past 6 years of my life…

One last bump. Someone say something encouraging…

I think you’ve got a great shot at your mid level schools, it’s just hard to come back from a lower gpa for top schools. You have good ecs, it’ll just be tough for them to make up for a low gpa. An upward trend is of course better than a downward trend, but it can only do so much. But, if the schools think your ecs are interesting they make take a chance on you, just gotta hope for the best. College admissions are so competitive now that no one can say anything for sure.

Thanks! If I don’t make it into Penn, I’m going to try to transfer. If that doesn’t work, there’s always grad school. My ultimate goal is Harvard Law or Business (not sure) so I suppose which undergrad school I go to doesn’t matter too much…

do you go to PV?

nvm nazareth, once again I think you should seriously try to consider other places
