So, you have really good scores, but your GPA is kind of concerning. Your ECs are nice (especially volunteer work and research) but you’re kind of weak in clubs particularly.

Boston University - match
NYU - match
Carnegie Mellon U - low reach
University of Southern California - match
Emory - low reach
Johns Hopkins - low reach
Northwestern - reach
Columbia - high reach
Stanford - high reach
UChicago - high reach
UPenn - reach
Duke - high reach

You look very solid but the low GPA makes it questionable. I would say
Emory - good chance
BU- Good chance
NYU- good chance
CMU - good chance
The rest will be very competitive but still a chance

Good luck

I am in a similar situation low GPA high SAT …very frustrating

My son had similar profile and he attended a very demanding school, He’s a freshman in UPenn and very happy. Good luck, relax and enjoy your senior year!!!

Great volunteer hours. good sat, yet the GPA is a let down. Although with a lot of those iv schools they don’t always look down on that, I said always they still can and do a lot but theirs still hope. Just explain that you underwent a strong personal change and worked your ass of the last 2 years chance me.

Boston University: Safety
NYU: Definitely in

UChicago:Reasonable chacne
UPenn:Reasonable chance
Duke: Reasonable chance

For those saying that your unweighted GPA is too low, its obvious you’re taking a very challenging workload, and that is reflected in your class rank and weighted GPA. Its obvious you attend a much more challenging school than most, and your class rank is very high.

Hopefully colleges will note that your GPA shot up a lot in the past few years.
I think
Boston University: Safety
