Hello. I'm a sophomore at NYU, I'm in the Presidential Honors program (sounds fancy, right?) and double majoring in Philosophy (with honors) and Computer Science, and minoring in Creative Writing.

By the end of this semester (they won't be counting next semester's grades, I don't think they'll get them in time) my GPA will almost certainly be between 3.82 and 3.9.

My high school grades weren't competitive for Penn but it was at a very competitive school that sends tons of people to great schools (Stuy in NYC if it matters).

SAT score was 2270 (800M/710R/760W)
No APs being sent, SAT Subject I had a 790 on Math 2 and some mediocre score (680 or something) in US history I think? I will have completed 60 credits so I don't think they'll care so much about APs?

Frosh Fall:
Honors Seminar: How to Write a Novel - A
Calc 1 (towards Comp Sci major) : A-
Logic (philosophy): A
Russian 1: A

Frosh Spring:
Advanced Non-Classical Logic (philosophy) - A-
Intro to Computer Science: A
Russian: A-
Writing the Essay (college writing): A

Summer (at NYU as well):

I'm almost certainly getting As/A-s in the two philosophy courses I'm taking, and an A in the CS class I'm taking this semester (same professor as my last one, would probably write me a rec). I'm a half-decent writer, so I'm not overly concerned about the actual application but I'll put considerable care into it.

How do you like my chances for Fall of 2012?
I would really appreciate your thoughts, even if they're incomplete, speculative, or only that you require more information.
