Chance for UCLA?

So, I've found a very unique major which only belongs to UCLA and I know it's very bad to have my sights set on UCLA, but honestly, I would love to major in that subject area.

Anyways here are my stats:

UW: 3.33 W:3.52
A- G courses 10- 11: 3.36
ACT score: 35
Class rank: School does not rank
School Type: top ten in the nation
Income Bracket: 20,000 to 30,000
First generation

EC's:
I have seven very heavily involved ones.
I won't go into too much detail as I would like to maintain my privacy.

Varsity sport 3 years (after summer stopped, resumed this season)
Tutoring ESL kids 3 years
Community leader 8 years (4 for hs) (after summer stopped, resumed this summer)
Dance 8 years, Choreographer for 6 (4 each for hs): appear on local television channel weekly (after summer of junior year stopped, resumed this summer)
Babysitter 4 years
Works for family business without pay during summer of all four years
Secretary for a small club incorporating newer aspects for club (2 years)
Southern California finalist for a region- wide Vietnamese competition (2 years)

More EC's but not strong
4 years of Key Club: will not include for applications
3 years of NHS: will not also include

Notes:
I understand that my GPA is extremely low compared to UCLA's; during my junior year my grandmother revealed that she had a terminal illness, and being financially inept, my parents had to work extra to pay for her medical expenses so I almost was like a stay at home mom taking care of my brothers, watching them do homework.
I had to give up most of my EC's so I became heavily involved with what was offered at the school. I implemented changes in all of the programs above.
Due to the irregular hours that my grandmother was hospitalized, my GPA also dropped but though it improved during 2nd semester, it was not a very significant increase as funeral preparations were made.
I work at my parent's business every summer but due to the lack of sufficient income, I don't take money.

Although I know my GPA is not spectacular and that there will be many students from my school who will apply to UCLA, I was wondering if there is anything I can do next year? I'm studying for SAT II's and hopefully they are 710+

Some other schools I'm applying to are:
University of California- Irvine
University of California-
Santa Barbara
University of California-
San Diego
University of California-
Davis
University of California-
Riverside
University of
Southern California
New York University-
Shanghai**
Chapman University
Pepperdine University
San Diego State University
California State University-
Pomona
California State University-
Long Beach

Due to our school being very competitive, our counselors suggest applying to 10- 13 schools, more if we're applying to Californian publics due to the budget cuts.

Thank you!

What major would this be (:?

You should be fine at the lower UC’s and most of the Cal States/San Diego State. However, the mid UC’s and UCLA/UCSD will not be easy with your GPA. The UC’s are still very much a GPA-oriented school, and even very high test scores such as your 35 will not eclipse your below average GPA at these schools. I would put UCSD and UCLA as unlikely reaches, and the mid UC’s as possible high matches. Pepperdine and Chapman should hopefully overlook your GPA due to your grandmother’s terminal illness, and focus on your high test scores. Those schools should be matches, nonetheless.

Thank you Loncria,

The major I wanted to pursue was Human Biology and Society :)
