Chance for Wharton Please

<p>I'm sorry if I'm being annoying as I put my chance thread already on the What are my Chances forum.</p>

<p>However, I wanted to have a more clear idea of where I stand with Wharton.(hopelessly delusional/Slim chance/Moderate, etc.)</p>

<p>I am applying ED and here are my stats: </p>

<p>New pubic highschool in Socal</p>

<p>-Unweighted GPA (4-point scale)
3.8</p>

<p>-Weighted GPA (5-point scale) -
4.68 - most rigorous course load possible</p>

<p>-# of AP/IB/honors courses and scores
World History: 5
US History: 5
Biology: 5
Calc BC: 5
Envi Sci: 4 (self study)
Psych: 4 (self study)</p>

<p>Senior year planned: u.s. government, microeconomics, macroeconomics, Chinese language and culture, statistics, English literature</p>

School doesn't disclose ranks but ELC recipient. (top 4%)</p>

SAT I : 1st(1880)- Math 710
CR 570 (M+C=1280)
Writting 600, essay: 11
2nd(2140)- Math 770
CR 710 (M+C=1480)
Writting 660, essay: 11 </p>

Korean Club 4 years- Treasurer. Helped incoming freshmen and first generations adapt. Offer counseling and tutoring.

Volunteer at local non profit organiztion 11~12: Helped out marketing events, volunteered for their summer camp and worked as an assistant teacher. Hours: 150+
Internship at a medium size company: Accounting department.
Summer program at a Chinese cultural center
Make my church's brochure every week
CSF 11~12.
Community college courses: Took Psychology, Art Theory(for credit), International Relations, Financial Accounting, and Management. </p>

<p>-short explanation on recs/essays
Recs would be terrific because I have a great relationship with my enlgish teacher and my counselor understands my goals and ambitions.

<p>haha why do you care what other people think about you getting in? no one else matters.. its just the admissions counselor. you could have someone say you have no chance.. and it would mean just as much as someone saying you are a shoo-in. these "what are my chances" things are retarded. quit spending you time doing stupid **** and enjoy your senior year</p>

<p>ouch that was harsh. but what pahka says is a good point. I don't wanna crush your dreams or leave you overconfident plus I'm no authority on this. All I can say is do your best son.</p>

<p>I guess I'm being a little anxious as I'm hearing how hard it is to get into Wharton and I've been building up on this application since my freshmen year. </p>

<p>I'll just have to see what happens now </p>
