"Chance" is now a verb (and I'd appreciate it)

Do I stand a good shot of getting in? When I calculate my points, I'm usually below the minimum for last year. But when I compare my stats with people who were accepted last year, I tend to have similar or higher stats. Thanks!

I calculated 8500, remind me what the cutoff was last year? Your GPA, rank, and SAT scores are all higher then mine. The only advantage I had against you would be first generation and low income. I’d say you have a good shot.

Last years cutoff was around 7700 I think? And I keep getting around 7500-7770 when I do it, but maybe I’m being to conservative.
I don’t know if I’m low income. We don’t make very much but there are only two people in my household…
