Colleges I am looking at

  1. Michigan State*
  2. UofMichigan-Ross( sister went here)*
  3. Penn State- BS/MD- My dad is colleagues with a booster for PSU, and he will write me a rec
  4. UMiami- Bs/MD
  5. UCLA- UC Berkley
  6. Duke University
  7. UNC
  8. Boston College
  9. Boston University BS/MD

*My school has a great relationship with all Michigan schools, for example, they got someone into UofM with a 3.3 GPA and a 29 ACT not hard schedule and barely any EC

Please tell me what schools are a safety, match, or dream and any other colleges I should be considering

BS/MD programs at all schools are among the most highly competitive programs available. All will be a reach with a 3.55 UW GPA

As far as I can tell, UNC, Duke, BU (MD) and both the UCs are reaches. Applying to CAS school for BU would make it a low match, but the 7 year med program is quite difficult.

Would you consider Howard University’s program or the other HBCU ones?

It will likely be a bit tough to get into the UCs, Duke, or the BS/MD programs with your GPA and test scores, since they are a bit low. I would suggest you retake the SAT and aim for at least 1550. For many combined medical programs, the 25th percentile score above 1500.

Please reconsider BS/MD for Boston University, I have heard that there are grade inflation or something. It would really hurt your chances to med school. Overall, your achievements looks great!
