Chance me and I will love you forever

OK–As long as I have remembered, I have been extremely ambitious (see the username), and I have come from a family full of big shots. Sisters went to BU, Harvard, brother went to McGill. I am pretty smart guy, and I have started a lot of things, but my grades are not perfect. I am currently a male, Jewish, Israeli-American sophomore in a ridiculously competitive private Waldorf School in LI, NY. This school is no joke, and in a class of 25, usually sends half to top 40 schools. I really need insight if as of now I am good enough, and what I could do in the future to get into a top school (my dream is UPenn, Georgetown, GW,…).
Here are my general stats and expectations:
My sophomore year has been OK, I have maintained an overall average of 93 (top 3,4 in class). Unfortunately, my freshman year average was horrible (B+ average due to terrible math and science) and I am afraid it will keep me out of college. Our school doesn’t have AP’s (the courses are supposed to be “just as hard if not harder”), and I am among the best in my class of 28 people. Please tell me if I have a chance because I am really new to this stuff!

Other Factors: Interview would be my best thing actually.

Anyway thanks! I want to go to schools that offer good political programs, and I already know thats what I want to pursue. I love politics, and I live and breathe it. Do I have a chance at BC?
I would really appreciate it!

yeah of course… most of your post is speculation though so its hard to tell because for example, you might think you’ll get a 760 on the c.r. section but actually get a 660. Just keep trying hard in school, challenge yourself, and come back in a year. Good luck!

aright i should add PSAT
CR–69
M-61
W-69
But i am taking classes and studying like mad so…

Not looking bad at all, keep up the ECs

I’d say you have a fairly good chance – if your actual SAT scores are as high as you are speculating. btw, BC does NOT interview, so that won’t help you. But being near the top of your class, solid ECs showing leadership positions, and “minority” status for BC (Jewish male) are definite pluses.

No school is a sure thing, but I would say you would definitely get into BC. As the above posters said, however, it is dependent on you getting the test scores you predict.

Good chance.
