I think you should be fine, the GPA looks alright to me.

Grant me 1 billion US dollars instead, I might be happier with that as opposed to eternal life.

does UW do best combined SAT? a friend told me that and I think she took the test a few times focusing on one section at a time… she got rejected though.

GPA & SAT comp looks low. I don’t think UW looks at weight gpa. if you were in state, you’d be alright. with oos, most of the admits stats I’ve seen had higher numbers: closer to 4.0 and +2000
EC looks good.

UW takes your best sitting, they do not combine your best sections from different sittings. They also don’t care about the writing section at all: it’s all on your critical reading and math scores just like the old SAT.

I think you look borderline right now. Maybe do some more test prep and take the SAT again . But most importantly, write strong essays and turn in the application EARLY. This is very very important since they have rolling admissions. The earlier you turn it in, the better your chances.

Lastly, UW is definitely a good school, but unless there is something really specific that it offers you that just incredibly surpasses the University of Virginia, I would ask myself if paying out of state tuition is really going to be worth it. Both are great state schools, but I’m not sure if either is worth the extra fees that go along with being an out of state student. Just something to think about.
