<p>yeah I am so so so happy I got in there I have to visit to see how I like it but honestly it might come down to money because UMich is so expensive for OOS.</p>
<p>I feel your pain. I’ve been out of the country for a while so I’m OOS everywhere.</p>
<p>Yeah the whole money thing sucks because you want to be happy when you get in somewhere but then it’s like ohh wait i have to pay for this…</p>
<p>Your chances are great as you will be paying OOS tuition to UMD. Maryland takes approx 45% OSS. It is much easier to get in from out of state than instate. </p>
<p>That said University of Michigan is a significantly better school. The options for any one after graduation are much greater than at Maryland and that is the goal. Basically their career center is better than Marylands. Also, the University of Maryland’s campus is not that safe. Then their is the Shady Grove campus issue. It is a pain to go off the main campus for classes.</p>
