You have very solid grades and ECs.
Thats a really low ACT Score. What is your verbal/English scores? You should take your
ACT again. From New Jersey, most public schools are outstanding, and you say you are going to a top ranked one, so what happened there? are you having trouble with finishing
the test? You should study and take it again, just to prove to yourself that you can get a better score.
History is a strong department. Look up Professor Elizabeth Fenn, Pultzer Prize winner in the history department at CU.
@Coloradomama thanks for responding! I took the act again this weekend, and I am not the best test taker have some degree of test anxiety and start to panic in the test. (English score is a 25 and Reading was a 23 on ACT)
Nice work! Thats a big improvement from your earlier score of 22, I hope. I guess you did not say what your composite was. They will look at composite I believe, Some schools throw out the science score but CU Boulder does not throw it out.
@Coloradomama My composite is a 22 ( English-25, Reading-23, Math-18, Science-21). Took it again this weekend though and applied in late september hoping for a december decision!
I think your ACT is way too low, from what I’ve heard admissions are becoming significantly more competitive, especially given how hard admissions are at the UC’s.
