I am definitely retaking as this was my first time taking the SAT and I know I will do better.
I am applying to Michigan State University. My father, grandfather, three uncles, and currently three cousins attend/ed. My app essay included this, and I wrote about why my grades do not accurately show my academic abilities. I have done my best in tough classes while playing baseball to maintain good enough grades to pass my classes ( C+, B-). I will attempt to walk on at MSU if accepted. My GPA for my junior year was a 2.9. Please rate my chances, thank you! Oh, and I live in California, not Michigan.</p>
