Just finished the app and was hoping to get some closure on where I may stand in the typical Notre Dame transfer pool.

-Transferring to Fall 2011 as a Soph.
-Transferring into the Film, Television, Theatre major/program. No pre-professional studies planned.
-Completed Math/Science/Writing pre-reqs with the exception of Calc. which I'm taking this summer.
-H.S. GPA - 3.5. High School admitted 31 kids to ND last year (St. Joseph's H.S., right across the street from Notre Dame actually)
-Lots of Honors/AP classes in H.S., but not too strong of scores on the AP tests unfortunately.
-College GPA - 3.783 after 1st semester, will probably go up to 3.8 after 2nd.
-Current college - IU Bloomington.
-SAT - 650 Reading/Comp., 800 Math, 610 Writing. 1450/2160 Cumulative.
-White, Catholic, Male.
-5 Different clubs in college including admittance second semester into the Honors College. (Though no leadership roles)
-College volunteer work in the form of tutoring kids at a local grade school.
-Planned volunteering at a Lakeland Hospital near South Bend over the summer, as well as volunteering last summer at local Memorial Hospital.
-(I assume) Strong recommendation letter from my English prof. Presumably talking about my love of film and my strong papers having to do with the film unit we had to analyze and write about.
-Good personal essay talking about how even though I grew up in the S.B. and worked in the ND bookstore for 2 years, I'd never realized how unique ND was and how special it was to me until I left. Also spoke of strength of the FTT program due to the gain of practical skills and a strong academic understanding of the medium of film/TV. Basically went a long way to show I've done my research and ND is where I want to be.
-No family/alumni connection to ND, but lots of friends' parents who are professors/employees of the University that could go out on a limb for me if need be (hence the incredibly high number of admits my class, and school in general, had/has).
-Potential advantage of being from S.B. and could take summer classes at ND if necessary to catch me up? I know they really push for their transfers to graduate on time, and maybe that will give me a little bit of an edge in their decision depending on how much they actually stress that.

Sorry that's so long. Chance me though please? I'm incredibly nervous for this.
