I heard Berkeley really digs community service, so maybe I have a chance? Thanks

Very nice ECs. I would say Berkeley is a high match, Michigan is a match. Low reach for something like Cornell. Your stats are average for those universities though. Which state are you from? This could affect your chances.

thanks for the chance! California.
I’m sorry i’m new to this site, does it go [low match-high match-low reach-high reach] in order of likeliness to get in?

Definitely send your AP scores. 5s are nothing to be ashamed of regardless of the SAT. Besides, they’ll see the “easy AP” classes on your transcript and assume you did poorly/cheated if you don’t send them in.

You are right at the average admission stat for UMich. What is your intended major?
For UCB instate, you should be high match.
For UMich oos, you should be a match for LSA and high match for CoE.
Note that the acceptance rate for UMich oos is lower than UCB in state, so you may still have a higher chance for UCB than UMich. The UMich oos tuition is very expensive too.

You only need to self report AP scores. You don’t need to send them to any school until admission unless they ask for it. Typically, you just send once when you receive the scores from senior too.

Thanks for the replies. I intend on majoring economics/marketing or something environment, like environmental engineering. Still doing research but a good business school or environmental program would be nice.

Does anyone know anything about Berkeley liking community service a lot more than other colleges? It’s one of my favorite schools so any info on Berkeley admissions greatly appreciated

For UCB go to the “California schools” forum you’ll have more people who know about it. Ask UCBAlumnus also.
Your odds are not bad for UCB since you’re from CA.
However unless your parents are able to pay $50,000 for Michigan I wouldn’t include it in your college list.
You have a a reach school, now you need to find matches and safeties.
(Remember that those should not only be schools you can get in, but schools you want to attend AND that your parents can afford).

Yeah 50,000 from Michigan is insane, too bad.
