Good to know…thanks very much!

So if I submit my SATIIs, do I have to submit my SAT scores?

yes. rice takes ALL SAT scores.

And, if you ask the College Board to submit your SAT IIs, they’ll submit your SAT scores, too, and vice versa.

not unless you use the newly implemented score choice

Rice though, specifically requests ALL taken SAT scores

Will they care about my SATs if I got an SAT score of 2000 but also an ACT score of 34?

so how much of a reach is Rice for me?

I don’t think Rice is a “reach” ; it’s just a numbers game at this point. Rice has room for X number of freshman, and accepts a qualified group that nets about X number of attending students. You, like many who post here, are well-qualified, but Rice doesn’t have room to accept all qualified students who apply. So go ahead and apply, and good-luck to you! :)

Elasticity–my daughter had similar stats and she’s at Rice, with merit scholarships, so it won’t rule you out. Good luck!
