<p>Hey, I'm a junior and want to go to a private university. (indian)
here r my stats:
GPA: U.W.: 3.799999
W.:4.03125 (including honors and aps)
SAT I:
1620 (i know they r really really really(x5) bad but i'm retaking them in
may hopefully i will do better)
SAT II:
taking them in june(these don't really matter since University of san francisco doesn't require them)
ECs:
Lots-
-volunteering at ymca 4 two years
-volunteering at local middle school for basketball league (three years)
-volunteering at local hospital(200+ hours)
-part time job(three years by the end of high school)
-joined clubs (csf, interact, red cross, indian)
-volunteered instructing little kids indian dance (1.5 years)
-much more that i can't remember right now</p>

10th: ap world history
11th: ap calculus, ap chem, ap cs
12th: (hopefully) ap calculus BC, ap gov, ap physics</p>

<p>I think all of them look good except for UCLA and UCB, those are probably a big reach with your SATs and GPA.</p>

<p>With that, you are definitely into USF. It doesn't take much to get in. In fact, you have a shot at UCB and other high-tier UCs as long as you demonstrate leadership and get your SATS up (aim for at least 1900) in my opinion.</p>

<p>I have a little better GPA (4.2 Weighted) than you and I'm a 1740 SAT and I got rejected from UCSD so thats not really a safety guys. And I'm currently waitlisted / appealing to davis to get to the main list</p>

<p>SF is a graduate school only, and mostly medical in nature too...you can't attend as an undergrad</p>

<p>the university of san francisco is a private jesuit university on fulton street!!!!!! totally different from ucsf (medical school) so please chance meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee</p>

what more do you want?</p>

<p>id say your only safety for the UC system is UCSC, all the others could potentially reject you. The only school i got into w/a 3.8 and 1940 sats was ucsc, and since i dont wanna go there i'm probably joining the marines.
good luck though, maybe i just got a tough draw.</p>
