Chance Me at TAMU!

I will be graduating spring of 2012, but I am planning to apply early this summer.

Rank: 70/531.
Top 13%
3.89 Weighted GPA out of possible 5.0

White Female
Public 5A High School
All of my core classes have been Pre-AP or AP since freshman year.

SAT: 1720
Reading: 590
Math: 620
Writing: 510
Planning to take it one more time in the fall, and send that score in, but after I send in my application.

My ACT was horrible, 24, not even sending it in.

Extra Curriculars:
Student Council - 4 years
Drill Team - 3 years
NHS - 2 years
I did all of those for the maximum amount of years possible.

I also have over 300 service hours.
I will have 18 college hours already from dual credit/AP if that makes a difference.

I want to apply for the nursing school at the end of my sophomore year so I was planning on just majoring in Allied Health or General Studies because if I'm correct there is no "Nursing Major" at the University.

With such a good class rank and AP schedule why is your SAT score only 1210? My advice is to study for the SAT this summer (not apply yet), bring your score up to 1300, and you will be an automatic admit. At the NSC I just attended we were told that 70% of incoming freshman class are auto admits. That means lots of competition for the remaining spots and I suspect their average SAT scores will be much higher than yours.
