I am a current junior/rising senior and I’m thinking of applying to Cal, UCSD, UCLA, Colgate, Tulane, and maybe Northwestern or Claremont McKenna. I know acceptance into the Ivy-level schools is basically random, but would it even be worth it for me to apply to Duke/Stanford/the like?

Intended major: Developmental Psychology or Neuropsychology/Neuroscience, possible minor in Creative Writing
GPA: 3.97 unweighted/ 4.08 weighted
SAT I: 2010 (690R, 640M, 680W) (This was my first try, planning to retake at least once more.)

- Won 3 Gold Keys and 12 Honorable Mentions in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards since 7th grade
This summer I’m volunteering at a summer program for disabled high schoolers and am attending a two-week program in Ohio. I also want to start a club at my school next year to raise awareness for youth with disabilities.
