And to the other part of @thumper1 question are you parents willing to pay what will likely be about 360K before travel, etc. for 4 years at USC, NYU and Georgetown?

So…if you don’t qualify for need based aid…it’s very possible you will be a full pay student at Georgetown and NYU and very possibly USC as well.

You are a very competitive applicant but you also only have Reach schools listed. Have you identified some Match and Safety/Likely schools?

UCLA College of Letters and Sciences does not admit by major and the admit rate for the College was 10%

UCB College of Letters and Sciences does not admit by major and the admit rate for the College of 12.9%.

Before you apply to all highly competitive reach schools, please read this thread I’m about to link. It’s older…but admissions have become even more competitive since it was written. No one expected a NMF, class val, excellent ECs, high GPA and SAT scores, excellent LOR, etc…to not get accepted anywhere but that’s what happened. This kid didn’t really have a sure thing for admission the first time he applied to colleges. I won’t give away the happy ending, but after taking a gap year, he did land on his feet. BUT he had a really lousy ending to his senior year in high school.

You need some sure things for admission. Places that are affordable and that you will be happy to attend. Find two. These are the hardest to target. It’s easy to find reach schools. Do these sure things…and start looking today.

you need some target and safety schools. You have good stats, but my cousin last year was rejected by USC with a 1500 SAT and 4.98 GPA. You don’t want to just roll the dice on high reaches

Agree with others that your current list as presented here leaves the distinct possibility of getting shut out. Hopefully not, but you don’t have a single sure thing…And you need one.

If this officially becomes top 9% ELC than you will have UC Merced (and last year also UC Riverside) as auto-admits. Would you be happy at either of those? If so, then you might be OK. If not, then you need to start looking beyond you current list of reach schools.

All of these are reaches because their acceptance rate is well below 20%.
Add Davis (close to Sacramento for experience) for an instate likely that’s better for your goals than Riverside or Merced.
AU would be a match. Dickinson also.
