<p>Hey everyone,
I hope I'm putting this in the right place, but forgive me if I'm not. I've lived in Virginia my whole life, but I'm currently a freshman at a small, liberal arts college in New York City. It's a good school, and I've had a great time here. Unfortunately, the curriculum is very general, and I'm interested in earning a degree in philosophy (something my current school doesn't offer). </p>
<p>I'm looking at UVA because it has a solid philosophy department and a well-known professor of the philosophy of religion (which I want to focus on). That being said, what do you think my chances are? I appreciate it.</p>

SAT: 700 CR, 600 M, 720 W (1300/1600, 2020/2400)
AP: U.S. History-4, English Lang.-5 (My high school didn't offer many AP courses)
4 Dual credit courses, all with 4.0 GPA
