Why i want to go to rice in 2 words- BEER BIKE
Seriously- I've always wanted go there. I've been to the campus multiple times because I have relatives in campus, and i fell in love with the school. I want premed, and rice seems like the best place for that. In short, it's just an overall awesome school.

show your passion for the university in the interview and essay, and allow your personality to sine through the essay.

Yeah, what jipper said. You've got the stats and resume to get in, but you need to use the essay (and interview, if you can) to really distinguish your application. Good luck.

All we can really say is apply.

You've got the credentials to get in, it just depends on how you come across in your application.

Applicants (like me last year) have a tendency to expect a certainty in the admissions process which just doesn't exist. If you know you're in the ballpark (which you definitely are), you've just got to work hard on the application and let the school do their thing.
