Chance Me? CCC to USC for mechanical engineering

I'm applying for USC Viterbi School of Engineering right now for Fall 2012 Admittance. I feel like the decision could go either way as my GPA is pretty decent, but my coursework load isn't that great. My ECs aren't too stellar either ): Chance me! I need peace of mind or a dose of reality. (Applying for sophomore status)

This is my coursework so far:

Fall 2010 East Los Angeles College (ELAC)
Anthro 102 (dropped with a W)
Theater 505 - 3 units - A
Political Science 001 - 3 units - A
Badminton/P.E. 662 - 1 unit - A
General Engineer 101 - 2 units - A

Total: 9 Units GPA: 4.00

Spring 2011 ELAC
General Engineering 110/Graphics - 3 units - A
Math 262/Calculus 2 - 5 units - B
General Engineering 221/Probability&Statistics - 3 units - A
English 101 - 3 units - A

Total: 14 Units GPA: 3.642

Summer 2011 ELAC
General Engineering 102/Problem Solving - 2 units - A
Total: 2 units GPA: 4.00

Fall 2011 ELAC
Math 263/Calculus 3 - 5 units - A
General Engineering 211/ CADD - 3 units - A

Fall 2011 Los Angeles City College
Physics 101 - 5 units - A

Total: 13 Units GPA: 4.00

AP Credit: 5 on AP Calculus AB (6 units is what my transcript says but that seems a little high. I'm not sure about this.)

Grand Total GPA: 3.868

For Spring 2012, I plan on taking Ordinary Differential Equations, Statics, English 103 (USC writing requirement), and Physics 102 (@ Los Angeles City College). The unit number works out to be 14 units. By the end of spring, I should have USC's calc2, english, and 2 years of lab science requirements fulfilled.

ECs:
-4 Year dedication to highschool badminton (3 years of varsity) + I still play today (my passion)
-Coached highschool reserve team during my sophomore and junior year in HS
-Assistant coach to the same hs team during my college years
-Typical club/organization/volunteering during highschool
-AutoTech ROP class (I figured this could relate to engineering?)
-Been helping my dad at his shop since freshman year of highschool up until now (everyweekend + a few days during the week)
-Strong interest in cars (which is main reason why I'm majoring in engineering) that I started wrenching and working on cars in my own garage (performance/motorsports type tuning)

Chance me?

bump! What are my chances?

Bump To The Top!

Bump! no replies?

bumpity bump!

If you are worried about your courseload, perhaps you should focus on taking more challenging courses at your CC that would still fill out the requirements for USC Engineering and apply next year as a junior transfer.

Your GPA looks solid, though. Just keep up the good work.

As far as the ECs, best to get involved to an extent at your CC. Is there anything else besides badminton and/or automotives that you like? Anything science or math related? Try and get involved in a few clubs or activities that could cater to your interests.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply, but could you rate my chances of getting in on a percentage scale? How much weight do ecs have in transferring?
