Chance me! Clemson

I go to high school in Virginia. I got a 29 on the ACT.
My gpa is a 3.85 and I am taking 5 APs this year and last year I took 4. My school doesn’t rank but if I had to guess I think I’m in the top 25% of my class. I am very involved in my school and sports. I also do a lot of service for the community. I got straight A’s my first quarter and sent those in. I also plan on sending my semester grades before February 15 so that those can be considered. I have also visited the campus. What are my chances of admission??

I would give you a ~70% chance with your stats alone.

I think you’ll get in. I got in in December with a 31 act, 3.9 uw gpa, 4.3 weighted gpa, 10 APs and about 12 or so honors classes. so we’re pretty similar students.

What about if your stats are 4.3 weighted GPA, 1170 SAT and 5 AP classes and in state?

I’d say you have a pretty good chance with those stats. Probably about 80%

I sent in ACT score and SAT score which I think is a mistake now. My ACT was only a 24 and SAT was a little higher with a 1170 on new SAT. Top 15% class and unweighted 3.7 and weighted 4.3 It feels like a long wait waiting. Clemson is the last school I’m waiting to hear from.

And I’m in state , I hope that helps a little since my scores are so low

I’m in-state with a 3.15 GPA, 1440 New SAT and 31 ACT. hoping test scores will compensate for my GPA. My guidance counselor says decisions should be arriving saturday or monday

Those are great test scores!!! Good Luck!

I thought I would share my son’s stats to help anyone still looking to determine their chances! He is out of state (NC), 1420 SAT, 740 on Math alone, 3.92 GPA, Honors and AP classes, somewhat involved but mostly in Varsity athletics. He was accepted into the Engineering program. Applied REGULAR decision to CU and actually received a letter early January (well before the date CU says regular acceptances go out). He also received an academic recruitment scholarship at CU.
