I go to a competitive and extremely academically strong hs in NYC.
GPA: 3.43.
-Every class offered at my school is challenging but I have taken:
-AP language, AP photo, Honors chem, Honors pre-calc, Honors physics.
ACT: 28 regular, 29 Superscore, still waiting on my scores from last test to come out.
English: 32 Math: 26 Reading: 31 Science: 26. writing: 10.

Will probably do ED at colby, will that help my chances?

I agree that most look like reaches with the exception of American and Skidmore. My D is at Skidmore right now, she was waitlisted at Colby and Bates with stats a bit higher than yours, but hey, there’s really no rhythme or reason that we could nail down…pick a few of those reaches and go for it !
Yeah, hate to break the news but you aren’t in the game for Colby, perhaps Connecticut College, Lafayette or Dickinson but you need some quality, high probability schools. Your list is too aggressive for your GPA especially.
Colby has a 50% ED I acceptance rate. If they see you as a strong candidate, your odds would be good for the school. However, your GPA and AP schedule may simply not be enough to assure that your application will be fully considered. Good luck. I wouldn’t say not to try at any college for which you have reason to believe on some level you are a match.
