Chance me! Cornell, Hamilton, Trinity??

So here it goes...
I want to apply to:

Columbia (First choice)

Cornell (Second choice)

Hamilton

Trinity college connecticut

And major in English/Creative Writing

Race: Latin

My SATs are
Math 620
Critical Reading 650
Writing 750

Subject Tests:

Lit: 700
French reading: 700

GPA: 3.5

Ive taken the AICE (International Cambridge A-levels) and my scores are:

French As level: A
Art and design As level: A
Math As level: A
Spanish A level: A
English Language: A

I have honors in english language

Note that Im an international student, not english native speaker.
In my country we speak spanish but im also fluent (Writing, reading, speaking) in French and English.

Besides, and I think more importantly, Ive published two novels (One 65K words long and one 142k words long), Ive given lectures and classes to other students from other highschools. I was invited to speak as a guest lecturer in my state book fair and in the national (Argentinean) book fair

Ive been soccer team captain and represented my state (and country I guess) in a soccer tournament in southafrica.

Im also planning to apply with an fine arts supplement (Im quite good at painting and related media)

Lastly, ive participated these last two years in my school's reforestation project - helping restore those areas burned by the fires

I know its a lot of info but Ill appreciate if you would just answer honestly.

Thanks...

I mostly agree with dvl2014’s view and add Hamilton is a match, two kids from my district have gone there recently. I think retaking the math and raising the critical reading score are needed to get Cornell to a low reach. Also since you are English / Creative Writing bound, your essay will be viewed critically, make it a good one.

Thanks very much for the comments!

Based on your test scores and GPA:

Columbia - Huge reach
Cornell - Huge reach
Hamilton - Low reach/Match
Trinity college - Match

I can’t really asses the value of your EC’s/Other stuff but these usually come as secondary factors to GPA and test scores, and people for the most part I think have the tendency (myself included) to over estimate their own abilities.

Thanks for the answers but:
There are no abilities overestimated, just facts.

Ive written and published two novels.
Ive represented my country in southafrica.
Ive done all that I wrote in my post.

Why do you want to attend Columbia?

I think you’d get into Hamilton and Trinity and feel like you’d have a chance at Cornell. But, not so much with Columbia. Good luck!

Because you can always learn more… I want to make my writting perfect
